A Truly Cambridge Hotel
Hotel in Cambridge
Rectory Farm hotel has had an exciting year of achievement and steady growth through 2016. Over the last year Rectory Farm hotel has come of age and reinvented itself as a Country House Hotel in Cambridge. In 2016 we created new rooms and installed fibre broadband to meet rising demand for internet WiFi. We have built a new carpark, laid a larger watermain and a gas main for the first time. We have expanded our staff accommodation.
As well as 10,000 visitors during the year we have held 30 wedding receptions in our marquee and we have received a new Civil ceremony license so that in future couples can actually get married at Rectory Farm as well.
In 2017 we will see Rectory Lodge, which was demolished last year, completely rebuilt as a beautiful new residence.
We are looking forward to the future confidently. The strong Cambridge and UK economy keeps business and holiday visitors coming to Cambridge. Parents visiting their student children at the University comprise a significant proportion of our visitors and the weak Sterling exchange rate means that we expect strong demand from overseas visitors during 2017. We are looking forward to the coming year with confidence.
