About Our Hotel in Cambridge
The hotel was built in the Georgian-house style and is gracefully proportioned. Parking, an ‘honesty bar’, free Wi-Fi, TV, a DVD library – and a fire in winter – provide all you need for a quiet night in or a restful base while visiting Cambridge. The house is set among two acres of beautiful, mature gardens which lead to fields where horses and sheep graze.
We endeavour to provide a friendly, high-quality service. Our hotel guests have the free use of a croquet set and heated outdoor pool (during summertime). Please note, the tennis court is unavailable until further notice. A five-minute walk takes you to the Madingley Park & Ride which has buses every 10 minutes to Cambridge city centre. The Coton footpath provides a pleasant 40-minute, countryside walk straight to the gates of King’s College – and the city centre. A 10-minute drive will take you to the Lion Yard car park.
